YOUTH PROGRAMS
Bulldog Hockey Development offers very specific training for all ages and gender. We offer a young stars program for the kids just getting started in hockey and all the way on the other side of the skill we offer individual private training at an Elite Level. YOUTH TOURNAMENTS
Yes, starting in 2018 BHD is hosting its first ever youth hockey tournament. Check out the details in our tournaments tab and be sure to checkback again for some upcoming events.
ADULT TOURNAMENTS
Looking for a weekend that is fun and full of hockey, check out our unique individual events, womens, mens, coed BHD has it all. BHD also offers a one of a kind puck and ball charity event which includes softball and ice hockey combined. It is not all about the sports, BHD is all about the social aspect. We know how to relax and host a fun event: parties, giveaways, games, dancing. It is all a part of our events and we are happy to let the good times roll. Come test your skills, but more importantly come have fun this year with BHD's hockey tournament lineup.
ADULT LEAGUES
Bulldog Hockey Development is unique because we cater to the adult beginner and players just looking to have FUN. For us hockey is not just a game, it’s a lifestyle and we believe it offers endless rewards and should be accomodating to every player. Besides the obvious physical benefits, hockey provides the opportunity to meet others and have fun while learning a challenging but thrilling sport. As we age, these benefits become even more important and are critical to living a healthy and satisfying life. However for those of us who did not play as children, hockey can be a very difficult world to enter. At Bulldog Hockey Development we create an environment that welcomes adults who are new to the game and those who want to return after a few years away. We help individuals to find affordable equipment, teach basic hockey skills and put together balanced teams with an emphasis on fun, friendship and fitness.
On a personal level, I fell in love with the game as a mom just watching from the stands. I spent years in the arena volunteering as a fundraiser, team manager and tournament coordinator. I never thought I could actually PLAY but one day I wondered "why NOT"?? Very quickly I realized just how difficult it was to be a beginner in the hockey world. Lessons were available – at 6am on weekday mornings. Leagues were available – but nobody would pass to you once they noticed you were a beginner. There was nowhere to play where I could actually learn and develop some skills. So we decided that this needed to change and we started working on the idea for Bulldog Hockey Development.
This program offers a fun, safe and positive atmosphere in which you can learn or develop your skills. Our referee in chief is the best in adult sport and has ZERO tolerance for any violence or intimidation tactics. Everyone involved in this program is here for one reason only, to have FUN!
